A warm welcome from James

Whether you’re seeking a romantic celebration à deux or a spirited party with family and friends, I’ll do my best to make your holiday memorable.  Here’s what some of my guests had to say.

A lovely house for a week with family and friends. Bedrooms adapted to all ages, antiques galore, lots of games for the kids, and bikes for trips to the beach.

La Brocanterie was a fabulous find and suited our needs perfectly. We were a party of six and the facilities suited all. My 11 year old grandson loved the pool and the pool table whilst his grandparents enjoyed the peace and quiet of other rooms in the house. James has thought of everything in the way of facilities and equipment and we will most definitely be back.

We loved our week at La Brocanterie which exceeded our expectations. We received a very warm welcome from James, both when making our booking and when we arrived, including some edible goodies. The property is perfect for a family, whatever the weather. We particularly enjoyed the pool, with wafts of lavender from the nearby flowerbeds. The kitchen has everything you could need. We also made good use of the games and puzzles that were available which made for some fun family moments. Hope we’ll be coming back in the future as there is so much more we’d like to explore nearby.

Joanna, Charpont,

La Brocanterie is in a peaceful, remote location and for the first time in many years we really felt as though we were away from it all and could relax! Beaches are a very short drive from the house and the sights we wanted to see ; Mont Saint Michel and Omaha Beach/American Cemetery etc were easy day trips.

The house was impeccably decorated, spotless and had absolutely everything we needed. A hidden gem!
